The Base

Completed 7/21/006

	1/4 inch hardboard made the foundation of the base. I drew out the basic curb lines for the sidewalk.
	next I added "worn" plasticard strips to the outside edge of the curbed area.
	a close up of the plasticard curb, here with a driveway (curbcut)
	on the inside, I added these craft wood strips along the former buildings foundation.
	and than filled in the area with hyrocal.
	Once it was dry, I etched in the expansion cracks, and damage cracks with the tip of a nail. Two coats of wood glue and water as a sealer was than applied.
	Hopefully with the outside and inside edges "hard", and with the water top coat, this should be somewhat durable.
