Sunset on Sicily

these are probably the last pictures that we will post from our three year stay in Sicily, so enjoy!

Left - sunset over the bay in Siracusa, July 2001.
View from Agira, with Mt. Etna in the background. In the middle is a (now) dry lake bed.  (August 2001)
Nothing in summer says Sicly more than the instant lidos they install for the sun tan season. Here is a brand spanking new one in Siracusa. July 2001.
Sicilian puppets are a famous tradition, and these four foot tall ones may be found in the puppet museum located in the basement of Randazzo's castle. August 2001.
The inner gateway at Castello Urallio near Siracusa, the largest standing fortress left from antiquity. July 2001.

Saying good bye to friends at Agira. Left to right is Joan Grant, Jerry Sechrist, the gentlemen from Texas with whom I was fortunate enough to work with for that last two years, and Karen Rawlins.  August 2001.

That's it for now folks!
