Turn 1:

Focused on the mission at hand, the Wolf Guard Battle leader and his guards, move towards the small town; the Grey Hunter squad fanning out to their right flank.  Spotted coming out of the trees, a lone missile from a Shoota Boy mob from on top of the power station arcs towards them, before burying itself uselessly into the ground, showering the area with dirt and debris (rolled a 1 to wound!).

The Blood Claws pack quickly realize that their drop zone is within a few close meters to three of the primitive alien walkers known as Killer Kans.  The squad shifts in order to take a better shot at the orkiods, but the Wolf Guard Leader, realizing they might need help, calls for assistance from the Venerable Dreadnought.

The dreadnought turns and moves, its grace in contrast to its bulk, firing as it advances. With a loud staccato it's assault cannon belches flame and lead, ricocheting off of the armor of one Kan, stunning it. The Blood Claws fire in turn, their shots pinging uselessly against the crude armor of the Kans.  In frustration on of the Claws opens the fuel valve wide on his flamer, and a huge jet of flame shoots out, engulfing the Kans.  With a loud BANG, the Blood Claw is rewarded with the gun of the already stunned Kan exploding as its ammo cooks off from the heat.

Encouraged by their success, the Claws madly charge and assault the Kans, only to find their attacks useless against the crude armor.  In slow response, one of the clans grabs a Blood Claw with his close combat battle claw, and snaps the helpless lad in two. Another Blood claw falls to the whirling buzz saw of another neighboring Kan.  The Wolf Guard leader in charge of the pack pulls them back, frustrated by their impotence against the armor.

The two Killa Kans that are able move after the retreating Blood Claws, firing their weapons as they advance, but being orks, they miss horribly.  Disappointed, but undaunted, one of the Kans spin and charges into combat with the Space Wolf Dreadnought.

The ancient Space Wolf warrior, ensconced in his eternal coffin, dances easily around the rude orkan walker that oppose him, and with a mighty clash his claw reaches out and rips bits off of one Kan (3 penetrating hits, rolled three ones!)  Stunned, the Kan can only sit there helplessly while the ork inside tries frantically to bring the systems back on line.

The other still mobile Kan simultaneously assaults the blood claws pack, killing another trooper, and again the Blood Claw pack retreats  away from the menacing metallic war machine.  Deciding that he would be unable to catch them, the Kan consolidates in hand to hand combat with its brethren against the dreadnought.

The Space Wolf Venerable Dreadnought fighting gallantly against the primitive orkiod war machines. Alas, today was not a good day for this Space Wolf.

Turn 2:

The Wolf Guard Battle leader continues his advance towards town and his ultimate goal, the death of the alien Warboss.

Standing tall on the roof top of one building, the Space Wolf Battle Leader's objective, Warboss Bob, sees the threat the Wolves pose and shouts for the lazy gits to get movin', words which bring da boyz into action. From inside a building pour out a mob of  burna boyz, and on the other side, a full mob of 'ard boyz, twenty strong, all of them eager to get to grips with the 'umie invaders.

A series of wild shooting by da shootaz ends up with again no damage done except to the surrounding landscape. Under the cover of the shooting, da burnaz and 'ard boyz assault the Wolf Battle Leader and his entourage.  The burnaz strike first, but their enthusiasm is quickly dampened by loosing half of their number to the icy death of the Battle Leader's Frost Blade, and the whirring teeth of accompanying chainfists, without a wound in return.  Panicked, the burnaz turn and flee, much to the great consternation of Bob, who continues to berate them in language best left unreported.

Across the way, da 'ard boyz prove more successful, killing two Wolf Guards. As neither side is willing to give up, both the mob and the Guards consolidate, and prepare to get stuck in close hand to hand combat.

At the other end of the woods, the Venerable Dreadnought gears up, and again rips another piece off of the Kan it had stunned earlier, this time causing a glancing blow and once again making the ork inside unable to control his machine (stunned it).  In response, the second Kan steps into combat, and with a horrible screeching sound, it's buzzsaw cuts through the ancient armor and splits the dreadnought in two, severing it off at the waist and  ending hundreds of years of battlefield experience.

Encouraged by his kill, the single mobile Kan  moves again to engage the Blood Claw pack, charging and killing two more. The Blood Claws again flee away from this seemingly unstoppable walking Kan of death.

Turn 3:

The Fenrisian wolves rip apart two 'ard boyz in a gristly example of animal savagery, and another three fall to the combined weaponry of the Battle leader and his guard. Now truly pissed off by the continued cowardice of burna boyz, and the frightful close combat results with the 'ard boyz, Bob decides "If you want somhin' done right, dan don't ask a zoggin git ta do it" and he moves down off of the building and prepares to take matters into his own, great honkin' hands.

Knowing Bob is not happy, the 'ard boyz renew their assault under their Nobz assurance of what their fate would be after this scrap, and they manage to kill a pair of Grey Hunters, another of the Guard, and wound the Leader himself. The 'ard boy nob, Slagot, reaches out with his power klaw and knocks the Leader to the ground with what all feel must most certainly be a killing blow.

A strange hush pauses over the battle field, as all look to the fallen Space Wolf commander. With a whirr, the Wolf Guard Leader springs back to his feet, aided  by the bionic additions to his body.   Panicked, and not understanding, the 'ard boyz are more afraid of this undead 'umie than the threatz being made by Bobz, and they turn and run.

Meanwhile, the stunned Kanz manage to get their machines moving again, and the mob as a whole begins to consolidate and they continue a slow pursuit of the Blood Claws, firing their weapons in a futile attempt of marksmanship. For the remainder of the action, the Kanz pursue the remnants of the pack, slowly hunting them down.

Turn 4:

Ecstatic by the resilience of their commander, the Wolf Guard and Grey Hunters fire into the retreating 'ard boyz, killing another two. With a animalistic howl the Space Wolves charge the remaining mob, in hope of decimating the unit and sweeping into the ork headquarters unit.

The assault is a disaster for the orks, their  Nob being  cut down, and loosing all  but two their number; the remaining two 'ard boyz run for their miserable lives down an alley. Not quite the result they were hoping for, the wolves consolidate and brace themselves for the approaching storm, Warboss Bob.

Bob and his retinue advance, firing wildly towards the wolves in a sheet of fire, smoke, and lead that does little more than shred the foliage.. Upon getting close enough, Bob and his boyz charge, but with his voice horse from cursing the fleeing burna boyz, Bob and his mob fail their power of the WAAAAGH!, allowing the 'umies to attack first.  5 wounds are spread across the ork line of Nobz, killing one outright. Mad Dok Bludcutta trys to "heal" one nob, but has no effect.  In response the Orks kill a measly two Grey Hunters. Both sides consolidate, and Bob, swearing hoarsly, shoulders his way through his Nobz into contact with the enemy, propa like.

Turn 5:

(Random Game Length Roll  is made  - a 6 - 8 turns total)

Foolishly encouraged by their previous success, the Space Wolves strike first, wounding Bob and killing another two nobz. The remaining ork forces hit back, Mekboy Goober accounting for both a Wolf Guard and a Grey Hunter, as his burna, a paintbrush in an artist's hands, opens up both warriors with ease, and another Hunter falls to a nob'z choppa.

Bob prepares to dish out a little payback.

Irritated by just about everything, especially his wound, Bob roars and rips into the Space Wolves with his Power Klaw, killing four of them before he is done. Another nob, similarly equipped, kills another two wolves with his own klaw. A stunned silence fills the air as the Space Wolves no only realize that they have lost almost all of their number, but the Leader himself is prostrate, and unlike the last time, he is not moving.

The wolves flee the combat, and are caught by a surprisingly fast Bob. With only 5 viable troops (models) on the field, the Space Wolves retreat and the battle is conceded.

His side bleeding from his wound, Bob rips he head off of the Wolf Guard Battle Leader, another trophy to add to his collection. With mighty kick, Bob encourages one of his Nobz to start collecting the remaining fight worthy  boyz, and stars thoughtfully at the dead Fenrisian wolves, wondering how they taste raw.

Victory, this time, goes to the Orks! WAAAAAGH!
