so 'ere we go!
Here it is bein' hauled into da shop. |
And in it's original form |
After a little time, we were in business. The autocannon was magnet mounted, and some extra armor plates added to the front. |
The roof is from the gorkamorka digga trukk, cut down to fit. |
Next up was replaceing the imperial side doors. |
and adding a few engine modifications, such as a larger exhaust, and a new air intake. I also shaved off the Forgeworld handle on the rear door, and attached a better one. |
We tried making a new ram based on Dark Eldar biz, but finally decided it didn't quite fit. |
the side panel was swapped out, and the armor plates re-inforced along the lower edges. The simple glyph was also added. (Roof off for clarity). |
A fuel tank was next; after this, a short diving deck!!! |
Ah, the first coat of primer |
I added a rear "swim" deck. |
first down was a watered down coat of regal blue |
and than i changed gears and went back over it with a watered down vermin brown |
and than back over it again wih watered down regal blue for that rust look |
tin bitz drybrush |
and than a regal blue, followed by ultramarine blue drybrush |
finally a boltgun drybrush, and the teef were picked out again in vermin brown |
I tried to brighten the new side panels, but the effect is poor. |
I'll pull them off after orkfest. |
the roof did get a retouch, and there are still a lot of detailing to do. |
