Da 'ard boyz

Bein' propa defskullz, Bob's boyz have started to improve their armor - by takin' it off of others!

Here's some details on some new and improved 'ard boyz, follow the link below for the old ones.

Here is a shot of the four completed models (as of 29 Nov 2004) As you can see these guys all use terminator armor in various disguises - after all, if your going to take armor off of the dead, might as well take the best!

Boy 1

Boy 1 was the prototype, to even tell if this would work. Here he is with one of the older dudes to see how he stacks up.

Note the rough splices of his legs.

I added plasticard straps to keep the termi legs on.

Not to mention greenstuff

The prevous pose failed structurly, as the glue wouldn't hold the arm up, so i moved him to a more relaxed pose.

I also tried this long strap, but it too failed in practice and was removed.

you will note that this pose is still slightly different than the others, again

Boy 2

After Boy 1's success, I moved onto Boy 2. For this one, I wanted him to be wearing the armor, so I carved out the termi leg with a dremel.

This was my first go with him, but I didn't like the looks of his helmet, so off with his head!

This helmet and gob fit the look I was going for a lot better than the previous one.

Like boy 1, he got some strapping too.

You can see in this painted shot the extra belly armor on the model

And the two first boys, painted and based.

Boy 3

Now that I had the other two finished, I felt it was time to move on. Here's the start of Boy 3

And with paint...

Boy 4

Boy 4 was to be different, I wanted to use the terminator heavy flamer arm as a burna, which would require some tinkering.

His backpack is made of a terminator back, plus the engine off of a ork chainchoppa, and some wire.

I added some leg armor, and had to rotate his hand to make it fit.

Painted. I tried to do someflames on his face mask
And da boyz so far...
