- UPDATED 4 June 2007 - I get asked often, why not make your own kommandos? Well I bought the set from GW in order to support them - this was their first major Ork release, and I felt it important to give it a shot.
I got the name as I was painting them a split gray/deathskull blue combo, and thought the name sort of goes with their mission and look. For those looking for the orange Killa Konvikt markings, it's a bit more discrete on these guys as they're stealthy, so only the skull and other insignia are picked out.
If you have time, check out the rest of the site too - including the ork army list, and the other conversions.
so 'ere we go!
The mob, put
together and based. |

The big shoota
boy is really pretty damn cool. I did remove the chain as it was too "chaosy"
looking. |
|
And i also
cut off that damn stupid looking grot from the shoulder of what is a nice
Nob model. |

After about
four hours of painting (less basecoat, the mob is ready for the table.
A fair amount of detail still needs to be picked out, as well as the leather
highlighted. |

I'm
calling them da Gray Gobz. |
