I could blame a lot of things for my horrible loss, such as crappy die rolls (which I did have), and the constant re-rolls the wolves had for shooting and armor saves, but in truth I was out generaled. 

My original plan was based on the fact that I could have no heavies on the field to start with.  Knowing this, it was my intention to use the stikkbommas, the small slugga boyz mob, the burnas, and the gits as cannon fodder (which did happen) until the Wolves got in close, than my reserve could appear and decimate him in close combat.

As the man once said, a plan never survives contact with the enemy, and mine sure didn't.  Once he realized that I had no heavies on the field, he just shot the hell out of my troops.  My loss was further enhanced by my mistakes with the Warboss, I should have gotten him stuck in somewhere instead of dilly dallying in the back, and my 'ard boyz, I should have moved them up immediately instead of waiting a turn.

Kudos go to the Grotstompa, for killing the venerable dreadnought and Iron priest, and to the loonz, who once they got in the fight hung in there really well.

This was the first time the Zzap Dragon saw combat, and I was pleased with its capabilities. Neither of us felt that it was unbalanced.
