Raid on the da Los Angeles Battle Bunker

In the Spring of 2005 I was out on the West Coast handling some business, and was invited by the West Coast orks to a scrap!

Well, after luggin' some boyz the whole way, a 240 mile round trip drive from the desert, we were in business!

Gooba checkz out da place before goin' in.
A few of the kick ass tables they had set up,

Fight Time!

Weedy Grubbdakka's Deployment
Weedy Randal's Deployment

Extra Weedy Iveatch's Deployment

Propa Defskull Deployment
Randal had first turn, and he surprised us by charging immediatley up, full speed, right in Grubbdakka's weedy face!
The pride of the Goff army (and next to the tankbustaz, the only Goff unit to survive the defskull punishment ) advances
Da 'ellhound rolled around the corner, and torched the skorcha buggy
Grubb and Randal were quick to get into the fight

Goff forces advanced slowly across the table, hampered a bit by terrain. Bob and da boyz planned their move carefully, and allowed the autokannonz to rake over da weedy gitz a bit (only killing two lootaz, so not a bad trade
With the Goffs close enough, da boyz charged forward! My Goffs - er - grots - er well traitor goff grots (like there's a difference) moved towards the shoota boyz in da woods, while the kanz and traitor goff sluggaz (who like our bitz betta I guess) moved towardz da irish brigade.
And we immediatley got stuck in! The kanz began their rampage.
Winning the combat, the sluggaz poured through the gap with their 6 inch consolidation move
Goff shooting wiped out the majority of the 4 'ard boyz, (more weedy goff traitors - so now you get the point of Goff on the run!, and they fell back a bit before my propa Nob was able to whip them back around and join up with the morta lootaz
The scrum in the center continued, and the Goff grots charged my slugga boyz - only to be beat back, loose combat, and again flee! Goff on the run...Goff on the run...
On the other table, Randal'z mega armored warboss was cutting a vicous path through Grubbdakka'z boyz

Back on our side, the traitor grots finally managed their difficult terrain role, and assaulted the shoota boyz in the woods.
Despite loosing a number of grots, they put a few wounds back, and hung on!
Combat became more expansive, as the shootaz and my traitor sluggaz also engaged into one massive meleee. About this time the famed Irish Brigade broke and ran! Goff on the run.....Goff on the run...
Meanwhile, the weedy Evil Sunz decieded that they'd rather team up on IVEATCH and me, and the first wave of buggies roared down my deployment zone. The lootaz in the rocks prepared to fire!
My rebel grots hung in there, but than broke finally Goff on the run.....Goff on the run..., and fell back - the remaining shootaz couldn't catch them, and swung back into my shoota boyz who were now tied up with the Goff 'ardboyz!

A lucky grot rigger roll got the hellhound moving again, and it pulled up near Gooba for a little lovin'. Gooba was being born down on by a burna boy squad, and in the hope of making them brake, and being in a spot where he cold repair the inferno cannon next turn, Gooba and his meks opened fire. Two burna shots from out side killed 3 burnaz, and one mekboy eliminated himself with a kustom slugga on rapid fire!

This battle turned out poor though, as the burnaz assaulted, and killed off all but gooba, who headed back towards the lootaz for safety.

Grubbdakka'z buggies continued to zoom in, and got a nice clean side shot in the perpetually immoble chimera
the rest of his boyz continued to swing around towards us. That Bwagon's going to be a problem!
Back on our side, the lone Goff nob of the shoota boyz, broke and ran. Goff on the Run, Goff on the run....
IVEATCH wanted me to show this dice roll. His 'ard boyz hit my sluggaz, causing four wounds - and me, needin' sixes to save.....Mork was on my side!
The battle in the center was over. When the dust settled, The kanz, and traitor sluggaz had mowed down the irish brigade, the 'ard boyz, and the rest of the shootaz.
Gooba regrouped from his short flight, and the Goff burna boyz were left horribly exposed...
Remember the lootaz in the rocks? Well one round of fire from the 'mo dakka Bwagon, and they were a distant memory...
In a last ditch effort, the West Koast Hitta ran up to tank shock these troops. Sadly, it veered just a wee bit, and slammed into a light pole! The gunner fired at the bwagon and hit it, but failed to glance or pen.

By this time Bob was gettin' a little po'd by the Evil Sunz, and reached out with his claw and shredded a passing wartrakk. Both He and Gooba ignored the spikes and blades, and the needin' 6's to hit, and each destroyed a buggy with no wounds.

With roar, Bob turned to face Grubbdakka'z warboss, and smiled in anticipation of the fight

But it wasn't to be - da weedy git zzapped Bob instead! No style points there.
The traitor sluggaz wheeled back around and krushed the remaining goff burnaz
Finally, Gooba, taunting the weedy zoggin' zapp gun loovin' warboss, charged in, but having shot his foot off earlier in the game, came up short in the difficult terrain and couldn't reach da zogger.
I almost made it out with IVEATCH's gargant...

Me and the SoCal LoCals - from left to right, Kapt. Razz, IVEATCH, yours truly, and Grubbdakka

Thanks Guys!
