Making
of Surprise at Pearl
Table 1 - we used 3/4 inch plywood for the game surface, one painted concrete grey, the other has a game mat stapled to its top. The bases are from extra shevling units we had lying around.
These trees are from the basic GW game; glued together and than black inked, and glued to a plastic base.
After, soil and grass was added.
We needed a piece to join the two tables together for the mega battle, here is the first form in pink insulation.
The canyon roadway was added with plaster.
We painted it brown, and glued soil to the top.
After the soil dried, we dumped the excess, and continued the process with green grass.
We added light sand to the road way and a few paths for a highlight.
Elsewhere, we had some more scenery bitz lying around, and slapped together this "shrine" |
to be continued....
