38 Elm Street
Well, who would have thought it. We weren't even done with the house on Hough Street, but we saw, and fell in love with this historic 1820 cape in downtown Lebanon. 18 inch wide pine floors, open beams, a gigantic kitchen, and most importantly, fantastic living space sold us on the property. Just one week after our first viewing, we have a signed purchase and sales agreement in hand.
After a building inspection, turns out it will need some roof work done, as well as some other things over the next few years - water heater, furnace. For a complete list of things that we'll need to address, take a look at the Job List page. The good news is that the sills and the building substructure are solid.
