Domme is another bastide town in Gascony . We stayed overnight in this village which, like most bastide towns, is located on a hilltop, walled, and lovely.

Being France finding a good meal was not difficult, but the the true benefit was the next morning as we awoke. The town was surrounded in mist, like an island on it's hilltop. Even with the natural beauty, it was the town market that opened that morning that really caught our attention, full of local sausages, wines, cheeses, and breads.
