We  have overnighted here a couple of times through the years in this classic medieval walled town located in the southwest of Germany, just about an hour and a half from Stuttgart.

Seeming to always come here off season, we haven’t had any trouble getting a room or finding good meals!  Most of the tour buses leave the city for good around 5 PM, leaving the town mostly empty.
