Day 15, March 17, 2003 HAPPY SAINT PATTY'S DAY

It seems hard to believe, but we are getting closer and closer to being able to move in! We got a second coat of paint on the bathroom walls, the living room trimwork, and even managed to grout the counter top, all with a few healthy salutes to St. Pat!

Grouting supplies....grout...wine...float...WINE? This was the only "standard" measuring device that I could find for liquid. Karen helped out by making sure the bottle was empty.

Tada! The grouted counter top.
Got to love those fleur de lis! We have decided that we are going to replace the sink; the stainless one just wouldn't look that good here with all the tiles. So much for the kitchen budget, we should be about 60% over.
Painting trim work made a nice diversion from the dining room for Karen.
It's hard to see in this light, but these windows came out nice and shiny. That's our building permit in the window.
The second coat of green coated really well, but is a little more green than I wanted. We had chosen this color for the final renovation, but it might be too much. Glad we put it up now as a test.
After the paint dried, we hung the new lights. What a change!
