Phase III.11 Construction Continued!

Well we're under the gun to finish this place up to, sadly enough, either rent or sell after we move into Elm Street.

First big job to knock out was the railing on the other side of the staircase. (23 July, 2006)

The dowels are 4 inches apart, and alternate in size, every third being larger. (23 July, 2006)
This was the first end. After Jason came over and leaned on it (he's kind of a big guy), we decided that despite as good as it looked, it was still a bit wobbly on the end. (23 July, 2006)
So we boxed in the end dowel, a move that added a lot of strength. (23 July, 2006)
