Chateaux Herbeumont

If you leave Bouillon and backtrack north east to Herbeumont, you can see where we parked and climbed up a steep hill through the woods to the ruined castle. This was a very small town, and completely off the tourist trail. The castle occupies a fantastic position with great views - well worth the detour.

Open year round, there are no entrance fees, no public bathrooms, nor usually other tourists.
