40k Drift Fences

Completed 10/18/05

While making rivits for another modeling project by using a leather punch, I ended up with plasticard looking like this.
Not wanting to waste it, I cut off a little below the bottom line, and tried to think what I could use it for.
A snow (well in this case an ash) fence! Next step was gluing toothpicks in as poles.
and than gluing the card to the toothpicks
some drifts were built up on the underside by using scrap foam.
and than the sawdust went down for texture.
a close up with a scarboy for reference
once dry, it was painting time.
not too bad for junk materials!
With the first two done, it was time to crank out three more.
