Day 3, March 5, 2003
Today was a day off as we drove the long hour through the rain toWe wanted to pick up enough stuff to pretty much complete our scheduled work for the weekend, and as it turns out, we might be able to temporarily do the kitchen for less than $300. (We say temporarily, as hopefully within the next 2 to 3 years we will redo it for real.)
Here's some of our junk - paint, primer, drywall mud and tools. We're going to use Glidden Ice Age on the walls, and Glidden Drifting Snow on the cabinets and trim . The colors are not quite right on screen as in person. |

We realized we needed a trash can for demolition work, and what you can't see inside is the $60.00 we spent on new outlets, switches, and faceplates. The house currently has brown; we're going white! | |
$65.00 for 180 sq of self adhesive vynal tiles in a faux marble finish. Not the snazziest, but they only have to last a year or two. |
