Oahu, Hawaii

Attending a conference in Hawaii can be difficult, but we managed to survive, somewhat intact! We stayed on Waikiki Beach, in a high rise hotel just two blocks off the water, with a view. Due to the number of pictures, this page is dedicated just to Waikiki Beach, but there are two other pages you might be interested in

Hawaii is a lot less expensive than folks make it out to be. We found the hotel to be inexpensive, (under $100 a night), gasoline was the same as it is in LA, and a rental car for the week was $170. Beer, the ultimate yard stick, was between $4 and $5; the same price it is in New Hampshire at a bar.

We found one great place to eat, Ono Hawaiian Foods, we would definately recommend it if you're on the island. The pork Lau Lau is amazing.

Enjoy the pics!
