After playing all day on Saturday, we decided to just walk around and check stuff out. We hit the store, and finally ended up at the Orks of the Caribbean table!

This was a hard one to pass up. The table was about 8 x 16, and there were five ork ships on one side, and five dwarven ironclads on the other (including a sub). The point of the game was to kill the giant, 10 wound squig that randomly moved across the table. Iggy decided he really wanted to be a dwarf, so John, Jon, Vinnie and i manned the five ork ships, yours truly appointed admiral.

And we advance! The Dwarves fired their cheesy torpedoes almost immediately, but we just ignored them. I was able to catch the squig right off with a cannon broadside, and that attracted his attention right to us. |

The game quickly became one sided, as the squig was securely on our side of the table. We kept pounding him with fire, and I was even able to disable the sub's torpedoes with a lucky rock thrower shot. |

From all directions! The squig takes a bite out of the main frigate, destroying two cannons, as the dwarven battleship destroys the third. The torpedoes are getting close! |

In the end, the main frigate survived this round, and pulled up enough to let the torpedoes pass by, and to let our cross bowmen have a shot. Now down to 3 wounds, John Pito smoked it with his ogre harpooner! Game over! |
That was it - the last battle. Just like last year we went off to meet our ladies at Hooters to relive the battles over beer and wings. Gamesday was a lot of fun, I would again recommend it to anyone. Thanks again to Games Workshop for a fun weekend. Being able to show up with nothing and play these games with beautiful models on beautiful tables was a treat. And Iggy, thanks for the pics!
