2004 saw us back in sunny Baltimore, Maryland for two fun filled days of WAAAGH, at Gamesday 2004!

Unlike last year, I brought a single model for the Golden Daemon competition - the mighty and unique Dakka-Lith. Unfortunately for me, it didn't even place in the open competition. Well, there's always next time!

Like last year, the base ticket allows you to get in the door, complete with some free gaming , but unlike last year you cannot pre-register for games - you have to get there early and sign up the morning of the first day. This worked out for us, as there were five of us, and we were there early. But for those poor souls who arrived late, they may have found themselves out of luck. I did get to meet some gentlemen I only knew on the net, Nightserpent, Hakbash, to name a few, and renewed some other old acquaintances.

We registered for four games on Saturday, basically tying up our entire day. As before, these registered games are great, as you get to use someone else's models, and it gives you a chance to maybe use an army that you haven't tried before. This time I played Black Templar, IG (twice), and Orks! (well, had to throw one game in). Note that all of these pictures are courtesy of Emil Iglesias (Iggy), I lost my charger for my digital camera the day before we left!

And the winner of the best battle scene.
Taken from the novel "Storm of Iron" this table depicts the siege of an Imperial fortress by Chaos Space Marines.
da Boyz put on this magnificent table, depicting an attack by all 4 major Eldar craftworlds on the empire of humanity.
Check out that titan and the battle damage! It was nice to see the Eldar promoted for a change. This was a running mega battle that lasted 5 hours each day.
A vampire-raider eye view.
Stand fast!
Valhallen ice warriors defend their table.
Dark eldar assault along a peaceful settlement.
Chaos vs Chaos.

As always, if you can make it to gamesday, I would definitely recommend it.

So here we go! We divided up the days to make it easier to digest; there are a lot of pictures!
