Notes:- Some of you might know that we lived for three years on the side of Mt. Etna, in Sicily. Some of you might also know that we have family north of Venice. Due to these factors, and others, Italy holds a special place in our heart, and it truly feels like home. Parts of Italy, specifically Sicily, are not that tourist friendly, so feel free to invite us to go along as a translator - tour guide! We spent a lot of time exploring Sicily, and we even took a couple of boat trips around the Volcanic Islands to the north. See the B-Master trips at the bottom.

Recommendations: - Historical sites of antiquity cost on average 8,000 lira (about $4.00). Make sure you get your ticket before entering the site. The week of April 12-19 is freebie week in Italy. Eat everything! The very best cafe in Europe is in Italy. |
